In a remarkable display of unity and harmony, the third edition of the Play With Kwara Youths tournament concluded with resounding success in Ilorin on Sunday.
The event, aimed at fostering camaraderie among the youth, witnessed enthusiastic participation from various backgrounds, transcending differences for a common cause.

Expressing her optimism about the program, Commissioner for Youth Development, Hon Nafisah Buge, highlighted the significance of unity in Governor AbdulRasak AbdulRahman's vision for the growth of the youth.
"If there's a way we can key into this initiative, Governor AbdulRasak AbdulRahman is ever ready because he focuses on the growth of youths," Commissioner Buge during the event.

Barr Abdulkareem Alabi, representing Senator Saliu Mustapha, echoed the sentiments, emphasizing the consistent support extended by Senator Mustapha to the tournament.
"This is the third edition of this tournament, and I've consistently been a part of it. I'm here in two folds – to participate as a Kwaran and to represent my principal, Senator Saliu Mustapha, who has supported them," stated Barr Alabi.
The grand finale witnessed coaches and participants emphasizing the pivotal role such events play in promoting unity among the youth.
"Having an event like this will promote unity among our youths, and where there is unity, you have massive development," remarked Coach Team STLawal, Hajia Sidikat Taiye Lawal.
Coach Team MoH underscored the significance of the event in fostering a sense of collective identity among Kwara youths.
"I am personally fulfilled that Kwara youths came together to bury their differences to have fun and build on our collective goals. I urge Nigerians to look at the model we are trying to build in Kwara where every young person sees themselves as a single entity," urged Coach Team MoH.
Coach Team CB, also the coach of the tournament in table tennis, emphasized the unity that prevailed throughout the competition.
"I want Kwarans to reflect on this event because it brings together people from diverse backgrounds, and we speak one language, which is unity. In this competition, there is no winner or loser," asserted Coach Team CB.

The culmination of the tournament saw various awards being presented to deserving participants.
Commissioner Nafisah Buge presented the trophy to #TeamGodFather, the football category winner.
Comr Yakub Ishowo awarded Yusuf Mutiu Olaitan as the Highest Goal Scorer and also presented the award, cash, and a book titled "Public Speaking Star" to the Ludo game-winner.
Coach Team STLawal, Hajia Sidikat Lawal, honored AbdulSamad, popularly known as Yolo of Kwara, with the Best Fan of the Tournament award.
Additionally, the Best Goalkeeper award was presented to Awal Jawondo, the goalkeeper of TeamGodFather, who emerged victorious in the competition.
As the Play With Kwara Youths 3.0 concluded, the resounding message of unity and harmony echoed, leaving a lasting impact on the youth of Kwara State.
